The light source matters, but placement and maintenance deserve just as much attention.
Describe the room, doors, windows, food handling and the types of flies being noticed. A light trap is one tool in a wider plan; it does not remove waste, clean drains or close an open delivery door.
Ask for the actual unit specifications, coverage guidance and replacement parts for the model under consideration. Energy use and maintenance intervals vary by product, so broad percentage-saving claims are less useful than the details for the unit you will actually use.
Positioning should account for competing light, safe access for servicing and the route insects take into the building. Food operations also need to consider contamination risks. Do not install a unit directly over exposed food simply because a power socket is available.
Agree who will inspect the unit, clean it and replace lamps or boards according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Record changes in catches so recurring activity leads to investigation. Ask Eagle Pest Control about suitable fly-management options for your layout.
