Suspected snakebite: seek urgent medical care

Act on the bite immediately

Arrange urgent medical assistance and prompt transport to a medical facility. Keep the person as still as practical. Do not cut the wound, suck venom or apply a tight tourniquet. Do not try to capture the snake.

Medical care comes first
